They care about their customers, when the owner Said found out our heater is not working during the winter, he did everything he could to stop by my house as soon as he could. They showed up on time and finished the job very quickly. Very professional staff and easy to work with. I strongly recommend Eat Bay HC to anyone.

I checked out 20 different referrals from NextDoor. I picked out Said Aichour of East Bay Heating & Cooling. Said came out to fix a furnace that would not ignite regularly. It's been a problem for years. I've been told to replace the entire furnace a few times. I'm obstinate. It's a 20 year old Trane. Said Aichour diagnosed the problem immediately. A corroded flame sensor. He fixed it in 5 minutes. The furnace now ignites 100%. Ready for the winter. We only use the furnace as back up to our fire place chimney insert gas burner which is very efficient. Said is a smart, honest guy. It was a real pleasure to have him do the fix.

I had a furnace that was left in poor shape from a previous owner. It never turned on when the weather was cold. Turned out that the furnace was so old that there was some bad repairs in the past. Someone had attempted to wire in a switch to enable the blowers instead of having the thermostat control it
Said came by as recommended by my property insurance group and took a look at it. He eventually figured out the manual switch and recommended replacement of the entire unit. I went for a few days on the old furnace before realizing what a hassle it is to be turning the blower on and off in the middle of the night. We agreed on a full replacement but I also requested an AC unit be put in.
He came by a few times to discuss the plan with me. Originally I wanted a heat pump and we discussed the work and cost. Since the home already had central heating ducts, an ac furnace combo would be the easiest solution since the AC can be connected to the furnace which is connected to the ducts.
Originally we planned on going into the attic to attach the cooling lines but after removing the furnace, there was a clear path from the crawl space. This made the work significantly cleaner since we could go through the vents from the crawl space instead of through stucco walls. Overall, his team worked fast and kept me in the loop every step of the way. He even set up a Google Nest which now allows me to control HVAC through my phone.

Speedy response, honest and competent. Its so hard these to find someone competent, and who does not overcharge you. (The estimates you hear these days are out of this world!) I needed to have a duct moved, from one side of the room to another. It required going under the house, adding a new duct opening and reattaching the ducts to the new location. So my AC unit quit working on me Saturday night. I called Said Sunday morning at nine and he was out to my place by 1230. He diligently worked to repair my air-conditioning unit for the cheapest cost possible. However in the end it turned out that I needed a new motor. Going forward Said will be my go to guy for keeping my AC unit properly maintained on a yearly basis. I will be more than glad to refer him to anyone needing his services. He was very friendly and knowledgeable.
